Rain itu adalah penyanyi dengan genre musik pop dan R & B, dia juga penari, model, aktor, pengusaha, dan desainer. Mantabh gag, tu??
Rain sudah punya tujuh album. Enam Korea, satu Jepang. Dia juga udah punya 19 single dan banyak tur konser di seluruh dunia. Pada tahun 2003, dia memenangkan penghargaan KBS Best New Actor untuk perannya dalam drama Sang Doo! Let's Go To School sebagai Cha Sang-doo.

Kehidupan Rain Dahulu
Masa Kecil Rain ia Lewati dengan tinggal bersama orang tua dan adiknya, Jeong Hanna, dekat Yonsei University. Dulu, Rain itu anaknya Pemalu n tertutup, tapi meskipun begitu, he discovered he had a passion for dance when he performed in a talent show for Sungmoon Junior High School. Awalnya Rain mengalami kesulitan buat menyeimbangkan antara menari dan sekolahnya. Karena sering latihan menari membuat nilainya rendah saat SMP. He decided to follow his passion and attended Anyang High School of Arts in Anyang, Gyeonggi, where he received his first formal instruction in acting and was able to continue dancing as well. Rain again found he could not focus on both dance and his studies in acting; he was truant on several occasions. Aigoo~
Rain kehilangan ibunya pada tahun 2000. Ibunya meninggal karena sakit diabetes. Masih dalam tahun yang sama, Rain direkrut buat trainee di JYP, led by recording artist and producer Park Jin-Young. Awal Debut Rain di mulai pada tahun 2002-2003 dengan album Bad Guy di mana dia diperkenalkan kepada media dengan nama panggung, Rain. The album's title was
"Bad Guy" and was followed by "Handshake". After his first album, in 2003, he made his television debut in the KBS drama, Sang Doo! Let's Go To School. Following the success of his debut as a singer and actor, Rain released his second album, How to Avoid The Sun,
and released the title song "Ways to Avoid the Sun”. Popularitas Rain menanjak pada taun 2004-2005. Pada tahun 2004, ia membintangi drama populer " Full House " dengan salah satu aktris paling populer di Korea, Song Hye Kyo. Aku suka banget nii drama dulu waktu zaman SMP, sampai diputar lagi sama Indosiar saking banyak yang suka nii drama. The drama had viewer ratings of over 30% for every episode. Drama ini disiarkan di berbagai negara lain termasuk Filipina, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapura, Vietnam, Thailand, Hong Kong, Cina, Jepang, Maroko, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Israel, Kamboja dan Amerika Serikat. Penampilannya di drama ini memenangi Penghargaan Aktor Terbaik di KBS Acting Awards.
Album ketiganya, It's Raining (2004),
terjual lebih dari 1 juta kopi di Asia. Menurut sebuah laporan oleh Rain's previous agency JYP Entertainment to the Korea Culture & Content Agency, It's Raining menduduki puncak tangga lagu di seluruh negara berikut December 29, 2005: Jepang (100.000 eksemplar), China (500.000 eksemplar), Taiwan (70.000 eksemplar), Thailand (150.000 eksemplar), Indonesia (50.000 eksemplar), dan Korea Selatan (154.000 eksemplar), dengan total gabungan 1.074.000 unit yang terjual.

Rain merilis album pertama Jepang-nya, Eternal Rain

Rain topped Time Magazine's online user poll although he was not in the magazine's actual list. He also made it into People's 2007 list of the "Most Beautiful People" in the world. Pada tanggal 24 November 2008, The Commission of Youth Protection judged Rain's album. Tahu kenapa?? Karena katanya tidak pantas untuk orang di bawah 19 because of the song "Rainism". Dalam "Rainism", lirik (translated from Korean) "Trembling inside your shaking body is my magic stick/Feeling the impassable limit of the body shake" were considered problematic due to their phallic and sexual references. Rain has re-released a "clean version" of "Rainism" shortly after, but instead of changing the original album's contents, he has labeled a sticker that deemed "Rainism" inappropriate for those under 19 years old.

Rain concluded The Legend of Rainism Tour at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada on December 24–25, 2009. He performed most of the songs on his recent album, Rainism. The Legend of Rainism Tour had concerts in Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Indonesia and Las Vegas.
Rain Kembali ke Korea :: 2010

Legal issues and canceled concerts
Pada bulan Februari 2007, Rain and his former management agency JYP Entertainment as well as a concert organizer, Wellmade STAR M Corporation, telah digugat atas pelanggaran hak cipta dari nama panggung "Rain," oleh the U.S. recording firm Rain Corporation The company, which works with an American band also called "Rain," demanded that Rain drop the English name in the United States. Pada bulan Juni 2007, the lawsuit ended because the Nevada District Court determined there was no evidence indicating that Rain Corporation would suffer any actual harm.

Many stars came to support him, seperti Lee Hyori, Kim Suna, Chae-Rim dan Girls Generasi's Seohyun. He designs and models the clothing. Label "Six to Five" is described by Rain as the idea of having an extra sense (i.e. from five senses to six). This label name also is said to represent his birth date, 6/25.
J. Tune Entertainment
Pada bulan November 2007, Rain mengatakan kepada media Korea bahwa ia telah meninggalkan JYP and started his own entertainment company,,
J. Tune Entertainment (sebelumnya dikenal sebagai Rainy Entertainment). He was scheduled to be CEO of the company, but told the media that he still kept in touch with his mentor and long-time trainer Park Jin Young. J. Tune debuted MBLAQ, an all-boy group, in October, 2009. Rain secara aktif berpartisipasi dalam musik MBLAQ, either composing, writing, producing or choreographing dance routines.
Humanitarian work
